Orbital remix : Energy 52 ‘Café del Mar’
Orbital are releasing a remix of Energy 52’s trance classic, ‘Café del Mar’ on 17th May via Superstition Records. The rework rounds out a new double-A package which sees the 1993 hit, written by Kid Paul and Cosmic Baby, remixed by Orbital and Kompakt Records boss Michael Mayer.
“How do you go about mixing a stone-cold classic like Café del Mar? You bring it into your world, cosy up to it, pour it a cup of tea (it is a Cafe after all) and make it your own.”
Orbital’s remix of ‘Café del Mar’ is out on vinyl and digital on 17th May.
